We reveal the winners of this year’s
Macworld Awards
Every year, the editors at Macworld
and iPad & iPhone User sit down and sift through all the products
released in the past 12 months to find and reward the absolute finest. We
honour the best and brightest device and software to grace our offices and test
labs over the past year.
The
130 best Mac and iOS products of the year
The Macworld Awards, held on 21 June,
brought together the cream of the computer industry. This year, the Apple
Product of the Year Award went to the new iPad, which impressed us with its
Retina display, strong battery life and fast internet speeds. Denon’s AH-C360s,
meanwhile, won the prize for best headphones. The award for best speakers was
picked up by JBL for the OnBeat Xtreme, and the iOS Accessory of the Year was
won by HyperDrive’s CloudFTP, a clever cloud storage solution.
Spotify
for iOS can now stream music at 320Kbps
This year’s iOS Entertainment and Lifestyle
award went to Spotify for iOS, and the iOS Business and utility award went to
LogMeIn Pro. Nik Software won the iOS Video and Photography app award for its
impressive image-editing app, Snapseed.
