The shape of PJ600VE is similar to the
other cameras. However, it has a special point that Sony has integrated a
compact projector lens on the outer edge of the screen. According to the
company, it can show image equivalent to 100” screen.
Although including projector, the camera is
still compact and fit your hand, the only additional screen is about twice the
thickness due to the integration inside the projector. Using the projector is
also very simple, inside the camera’s body will have a blue button named
Projector, when you click on this button, the whole image will be transferred
from the camera screen to the projector. You can use the slide bar on the upper
edge of the screen to adjust focus for clear images. In slideshow mode, you have
to use the buttons on the camera body to control, including zoom button to move
the selected items and Photo button for OK.
The exterior design and buttons layout on
this camera like the HDR-XR260VE camera. However, it has a sub base at the
upper edge of the body to mount all accessories such as navigation micro. It
also has integrated microphone to record 5.1 surrounded sound, 20.4MP static
image capture, image anti-vibration when recording and 26.8 mm wide angle lens
for more shooting space. Especially, the internal hardware of the camera has
capacity up to 220GB, helping you record and store videos comfortably.
