still keep on developing this segment because this model have been loved by
those who started playing with professional cameras.
Here are top appealing DSLRs of the year
2012.
Canon 650D
This is Canon’s only entry level in 2012. The
product is equipped with CMOS APS-C 18MP sensor, Digic 5 image processor, ISO
100-25,600, 5fps in burst mode. The device also can record Full HD videos. EOS
650D owns 9 cross-type AF points, like EOS 60D did. Besides, the new AF system includes
detecting contrast and phase focus when used with STM lenses. The model comes
with Clear View II TFT capacitive rotatable display featuring 3in size and
1,040,000pixel resolution.
RRP is $975, for the body with 18-55mm lens.
Sony A57
Alpha A57 is equipped with APS-C CMOS 16MP
sensor, BIONZ processor, ISO 100-1,600. The device can record Full HD60i video
at 24fps and 25fps. A57 is anti-shake. The rear display is 3in large, featuring
921,600pixel resolution, and rotatable with 1.4MP EVF. AF system includes 15
points, 3 of which are cross types.

Sony SLT A37
Sony SLT A37 is a new replacement for A35.
The device comes with 16MP CMOS APS-C sensor, ISO 100-25,600, anti-shaking… The
camera has a 15-point AF system. Sony A37 is also able to record video at Full
HD resolution. EVF featuring high resolution plus the 2.7in LCD screen, with
230,400 pixels, can be swiveled.
RRP is $550 for the body only.
Nikon D3200
D3200 is a model of Nikon’s entry-level
series, with connectivity to Androids and iOS devices via external accessories.
Nikon D3200 is equipped with CMOS APS-C sensor (24MP) and Expeed 3 processor
while D3100 only had 14MP. The device also supports ISO 6,400-12,800, plus 11
AF points, 4fps in burst mode. D3200 doesn’t have the same focusing engine that
has appeared in Nikon’s recent DSLRs as the brand moved to models with the new
components. The screen is 3in large, with 921,000 pixels.
The body with kit lens cost $690.
Nikon D5200
Nikon D5200 is an upgrade of D5100 with the
new CMOS sensor featuring 24MP resolution and Expeed 2 image processor. The
model shines with Multi-Cam 4800DX AF sensor and 39-point system plus 9 cross
types, and 2,016pixel RGB light meter (like in D7000). D5200 supports ISO
100-6,400, extendable up to 25,600. The device is able to record Full HD videos
(1080p, 60i, 60i) and shoot 5fps in burst mode. Nikon’s new DSLR use a view
finder owning 95% coverage. The rear swivel display seizes 3in and incorporates
921,000 pixels. D5200 also has an accessory dubbed Wi-Fi WU-1a, allowing user
to control capturing as well as streaming images wirelessly to Android or iOS
devices.
The body plus 18-55mm kit lens costs $900.
