Scenario/Problem: You want to fill a form in a SharePoint form library.

Solution: In a form library, you can fill a form by clicking the New Document button in the Files ribbon. Clicking this button opens the form either in the browser or in Microsoft InfoPath, depending on the configuration of the form and on whether you have Microsoft InfoPath installed (see Figures 1 and 2).

If the library is configured to have more than one form, you can open the drop-down menu for the new form, the same way you do when creating items or documents from different content types.
