I suppose I do share a little bias towards
Skullcandy products. Ever since I purchased my frist pair from a liquidation
sale on eBay. I have been absolutely in love with them. Their style, their
sound, and their price point are all incredibly attractive and if you’re
looking to experience your music in a ‘private manner’ then these headphones
are the way to go.
Skullcandy
Headphones
Skullcandy boasts a variety of styles and
types. They have headphones for all discriminating tastes and their product
lines include; On-Ear, In-Ear, Over Ear, and even microphone imbedded
peripherals. The designs are incredibly modern and everyone should find at
least one design they like here. Whether it’s a simplistic solid color, or an
attractive, colorful work of art, Skullcandy has you covered.
But it isn’t just the style that makes
these headphones so appealing. Developers at immersive and powerful listening
experience and they achieved this by including only the best drivers in their
products. There are different drivers for different listening styles, but every
set of headphones that Skullcandy produces has an incredibly clear- crisp, and
equalized sound. Some of their drivers are even gold-plated, which is said to
further amplify the connectivity between the headphone and the device. Their
products are well-made too, using heavy plastics and metals. In fact, the
company is so confident in their devices that they offer a limited-lifetime
warranty on everything they sell, which helps to protect against accidental
defects and damage. One of my favorite features (which comes with some of the
styles) is the braided cord. This braid helps prevent the cord from splitting,
which is a godsend for anyone who pack their headphones in a case or backpack.
Regular cords are often cased in a thin plastic that can split or easily pull
away from the housing, exposing the internal wires to the elements.

Skullcandy looks and operates like a very
expensive headphone, but their products really aren’t that costly. A decent
pair from the company website will run you around $50. However, Skullcandy
operates an ‘outlet store’ on the popular auction website eBay. If you catch
their sales (which are very often), you can grab a $50 pair of stylish
headphones for around $20.
So there you go. Just like you can use your
iOS device for television and movies, you can also use it (quite well may I
add) as a music player. In fact, using iTunes, paired with low-priced
accessories and gadgets can actually save you a lot of money on music in the
long run. ITunes will allow you to purchase single songs rather than entire
albums and investing in a dock for your iOS device is much cheaper than
purchasing some crazy $300 CD sound system. If you’re heavy into music and have
to have your tunes then you should definitely consider morphing that iOS device
of yours into your primary music player. Your wallet will probably thank you in
the long run.
