Samsung unveils new NX cameras with
built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
Samsung had just brought their latest
compact system cameras, and the photography- enthusiast in you could probably
be more excited. Why? The new Samsung NX1000, NX210 and NX20 cameras all come
with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, which goes on top all of its fanciful new
features and performances.
These Samsung SMART cameras' Wi-Fi
capability allows users to connect to a wireless network, letting them either
transfer images directly to their smartphones, email them out or share them on
popular social networking sites like Facebook or Picasa. It also lets users to
utilise their smartphones as a remote viewfinder -- great for capturing group
photos without someone behind the camera.
All three cameras are fitted with a
20.3-megapixels APS-C CMOS sensor and Samsung's proprietary i-Function system,
though they vary mostly between design and features. The NX1000, marketed as
the entry-level model, sports a trendier look (choose between three colours)
and offers 1080p HD recording (at 30p), Smart Auto 2.0, 3D Panorama and an ISO
range of 12,800. It prices at $800.

The NX210, on the other hand, features a
3.0-inch AMOLED display, High Speed Capture capabilities of 8fps, 1080p HD
recording, ISO up to 12,800 and 3D Panorama as well. This one prices at $927.
The
Samsung NX210
The NX20 would be the one for the
professional photographer, offering a 3.0-inch AMOLED swivel display as well as
shutter speeds of up to 1/8000. It also has a built-in electronic viewfinder,
and will have all of the features the other two NX has; ISO 12,800, 1080p HD
video, 3D Panorama and all that jazz.
