Despite being a black-white printer, Ricoh Aficio SP 100SF has paper tray placed in the same position of some other brands. This design comes handy when not bending the papers during printing process, especially for thick papers, though, it will considerably affect user during operation as the dryer and heat-sink outlet lies on the front. The rear paper tray can hold up to 50 sheets (80g/m2) and feature vertical shape which is foldable and neatly hidden inside the device when not used. Meanwhile, the cap-styled paper tray which can hold up to 10 sheets is on the front. According to the manufacturer, this multifunctional model can meet a productivity of 10,000pages/month for a busy office.

The control panel spreads along the monochromatic LCD’s width, number and function keys are visually placed for users to operate copying and faxing from the printer without any computer. Aside from the rear USB 2.0 port directly connected to the computer, Ricoh SP 100SF is also equipped with 2 telephone-signals in/out for faxing function. The power button is situated on side for easy operation.
