With intention of water-proof smartphones,
Sony developed Xperia Go and Acro S models while Motorola had already shone
with Defy smartphone.
Unlike models from either Sonim or JCB
Protalk with bulky and hard-looking design, heavy-duty Android smartphones come
with compact and appealing appearance. Products, such as Xperia Go, Motorola
Defy, etc… own less redundant detail in design but still maintain abilities
that can resist water, dust and shock.
After Motorola, Sony became interested in
heavy-duty smartphones. Besides, some Japanese manufacturers also followed this
trend. Although Acro S hasn’t appeared in local market yet, users can pick
another durable one at various prices.
Here are some products that are available
on local market.

This is the latest model that has just
appeared. The phone comes in compact and slim design, similar to that of
previous model, Xperia Sola. Moreover, it owns IP-67 standard providing water

OS, dual-core process and 5MP camera. Unauthorized product costs $350 while

with single-core processor (600MHz), 3MP camera and 1,650mAh battery.
