Display Warriors (part 4)

AOC 2352Phz

“LG is not the only screen manufacturer in the world based on Passive 3D technology”, this was our first thought when we started to consider the AOC 2352Phz screen. 23in screen with 1920x1080 resolution support, it brought 3D to your PC.

Everyone gave up burdensome 3D glasses of early 3D displays. They produced high quality 3D experience, but heavy and not comfortable for long use.

2352Phz runned Film Type Patterned Retarder (FPR) screen which used polarized 3D light. Unlike traditional 3D systems, polarized 3D technology presented different images to each eye by polarization images at different angles, making it more comfortable than using glasses.

With beautiful picture quality and rich colors, TriDef 3D software gave good results in watching film. We also have a great time when playing 3D games on this screen. Display worked well in daily activities with good brightness and contrast. The clip on polarized sunglasses is very convenient for those who wear glasses.

Besides technology, 2352Phz is also very beautiful and has many connectivity options. With black surface like a piano, it will look great on your desk. The panel is at the front bottom, at the rear we have HDMI 1.4, VGA, DVI ports and 2 headphone jacks and speakers.

This product was introduced for people who love 3D movies and gaming world.Sản

Philips 226V3LSB28

The most important factors to consider before buying a screen are price and size. For some people, especially gamers and film addict, resolution, response time and number of inputs are also very important.

Philips remembered all this features when designing this special screen.

Philips 226V3LSB28 is standard 21.5in LCD, with 16:9 wide aspect ratio, 700:1 contrast ratio, the average response time of 5ms and natural resolution 1920x1080. This puts it in the average specification segment, so it attracts all user types.

Philips was famous for designing the quality screen and this model is not an exception. Stable quality design, with adjustable base. Screen size is 532 x 397 x 209 mm and weighs 3kg, fits on a desk.

The screen is very good in dayly tasks like web browsing, document processing, spreadsheet, presentation and HD movies playing. Good gaming experience, although gamers may want response time at 2ms.

If you are looking for a monitor with good common performance and slim form factor, Philips 226V3LSB28 is the screen for you.

Conclusion

While reading this category, you may have noticed two problems appear repeatedly: HDMI and resolution. The consumption of high-definition video and high-end gaming has become popular in recent years. The growing demand for HD decoding has made the inclusion of DVI-D and HDMI became popular. These 2 ports are similar in nature, except for DVI-D port can not transmit audio information. So in future, DVI-D can disappear. One other important consideration is the resolution, though the screen is 22, 23, 24, 26 or 27in, the resolution is almost the same: 1920x1080 pixels. Because it is designed for HD video without the need of resize.

During evaluation, we were impressed with most screens. ASUS ProArt 247 is the best in all areas except for gaming. Because it targets professional users and is priced higher, however, it is still our choice by its quality. In more advanced segment, the award belongs to Samsung SyncMaster S24A350H because of the price and performance.
