Controls
The WB250F has a solid metal body with a
good handle and a rubber gasket on the back for your thumb. It's small enough
to carry around in their pockets and not heavy for a camera with an 18x optical
zoom lens. The menu system is easy to navigate with color, text and images to
help you accordingly.
On the top of the camera is a dial, which
allows access to shooting modes and settings as well as Wi-Fi. There is also a
direct button that allows you to automatically capture and share pictures
directly to your phone. The flash button is also located there, an on/off
button, a zoom slider and a shutter button. The buttons are nothing unusual at
the rear, with a button, menu, back, play back and delete movie as well as a
four-way controller. This allows you to roll over the menu and access the
flash, display, focus mode, self-timer and continuous shooting.
On the back there is a 3-inch touchscreen
with a good resolution of up to 460K. It is responsible for controlling the camera
and is bright, clear and easy to see. There is a CIPA rating for the battery
supply but we can perform the entire test shots taken of us by a single battery
charge. This includes checking Wi-Fi functionality.
We selected some photos to check the responsiveness
of the camera, moving from the first picture, from this time to other shots,
focusing speed.... We took some pictures and then take the average to make sure
our test was consistent and accurate, making comparisons with other cameras
easier.
