It could be considered as an option for
gamers to buy a laptop for gaming. We are currently having and a MSI
GT60 version, and we will give you the following introduction.
GT60
is the product at gaming segment, so it's thick, big, has many angular and
weighs 3.5 kg.
GT60/G70 is high-end gaming notebook from
MSI, the product was introduced in March this year, with high-end configuration
including Ivy Bridge CPU Core i7 of Intel, nVIDIA GeForce 600 series
graphics card, large capacity Ram and hard drive, comes with other
utilities such as SteelSeries keyboard, Dynaudiospeakers, LAN cards of Bigfoot
Killer.
GT60 is equipped 15.6” screen, Full HD
resolution. GT60 is the product at gaming segment, so it's thick, big, has many
angular and weighs 3.5 kg. About design, machine shell is made of
plastic, the surface is made of scratched plastic and the bottom
is made of rough plastic, allowing users handle easier; however, this plastic
shell is dusty. In general, GT60 and GT70 are very similar, the GT60 has 15.6”
screen and is equipped with 2.1 speaker, while the GT70
has 17.3” screen and 4.1 speaker. MSI also equipped for
GT60 anti-glare screen to use in bright environment. Visibility of the
screen is quite good; it has high brightness and wide viewing angle, less color
change when changing the viewing angle. Color display capability is quite detailed.
Though it’s not brilliant in the warm colors, it presents the cool colors very
well.
MSI has hired well-known hardware firms to outsource the important peripherals
of the computer, such as SteelSeries chicklet keyboard, at first the keyboard
has good typing quality and comfort feeling, but the key layout is not
reasonable. Typically, Windows key is on the right side, it’s not convenient to
use shortcuts. In return, the manufacturer also equipped color changing
backlight for this keyboard. We can change 7 different colors for three key
areas (left, center, right). Touchpad also supports multi-touch for tasks using
2, 3 fingers (the video said no, we are so sorry about this).
We
can change 7 different colors for three key areas.
GT60 is equipped with DYNaudio speakers,
this 2.1 speaker system brings good sound, though its volume does not so big, it
shows detail of the sound levels, bass is loud and clear. The machine is also
integrated LAN card of Bigfoot Killer and its own controller, helping users set
the connection parameters while playing Multiplayer game.
Optimus 2 technology of
nVIDIA works very well.
About configuration, GT60 Core i7 CPU is
equipped with quad-core CPU Core i7 Ivy Bridge 3610QM of
Intel, nVIDIA GTX 670M Ram
3GB GDDR5discrete graphics cards, 12GB bus 1600MHz Ram, 2 500GB
7200rpm hard drives running Raid 0, 15.6” Full HD screen... With 9 cell
battery included, GT60 offer a using time from 3 to 4 hours (depending on
level), a high figure for gaming laptops, thanks to the inside components of
the machine’s configuration. For example, Ivy Bridge CPU integrated GPU HD
4000, and this chip will do most tasks of computer graphics when used normally,
so it will save battery. Optimus 2 technology of
nVIDIA (helping automatically convert graphics chip) works very
well, helping GTX 670M card and iGPU HD 4000 know when it must work,
the coordination between two GPU is very smooth, we do not notice a delay
when there is a change.
