HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One

1/28/2013 9:17:36 AM

With the strange combination of lathe trays and bases, the style of Photosmart 7520 is a little different. However, there are many packaged mail, from oversized touch screen to fax facilities, and other excellent connecting options.

The default paper tray is 125-sheet paper tray; right above it is a 125-sheet paper tray which is sealed. 125-sheet paper tray is not easy to slide into place, but it is effective and helps you not to regularly change the inventory mode. Coming with that is a 25-sheet ADF.

Beside USB interface, 7520 can also be connected to Wi-Fi, which is particularly useful to download the application. There is no wired Ethernet interface. This device does not aim at enterprises. HP ePrint allows you to send email files directly to the printer by using tablet or smartphone, and in the front is the place for connection port of the memory card and USB drive.

7520 provides an excellent 4.3in color screen, allowing the system to work as all touch screen. For example, in Photo menu, use finger to scroll the images on your USB drive or memory card. Select an image you want then access other menu which allows you to change the size, red-eye remove and so on. You do not have many options to edit the image but you have basic tools. You do not need a PC.

7520 does not skimp on speed, and its text output is useful in the lowest quality mode despite the impressive speed of 17.6ppm in our tests. We prefer the text to be neat and more concentrated in the middle mode (middle). Result in the highest mode provides optimum clarity, but the 1.9ppm speed is a disadvantage.

The graphics output on the standard paper is very good, and nearly equal to MX895. Perhaps the color is slightly elegant, but the result is still attractive. The machine has very good speed, even though 7520 is only faster than the 5520 in our tests. The photos are excellent with vibrant colors.

It has quite reasonable price with 2.4p for a page of text, and 4.8p for a color page.

HP is not the fastest printer in page copy, but it has accurate results and less ink loss during copy. With 600dpi, HP brings back results in only 34 seconds. The lid is strong although you cannot adjust it to suit the bigger documents.
