Gaming systems
We know what you tell, dear readers: the
gaming laptops are expensive, and you would be better to design own desktop. We
do not necessarily disagree. However, if you do not mind paying high prices,
they are a great way to get the frame rate can be played even while on the
road. Base on gaming on the way is important to hit, we'll avoid talking about
the heavy systems such as MSI GT70, Alienware M17x or Samsung Series 7 Gamer -
they are capable computers, but with 9 pounds they only mobile in name.
Razer
Blade
Razer is fast, powerful and incredibly slim
for one 17 inch laptop (0.88-inch thick and just 6.6 pounds). It is also
expensive with the latest version starting with $ 2,500 (you can buy
last-generation model with price $2,000). So, obviously you will not have what
it is worthwhile your money here, but if you insist on thin form factor and
high performance and can compromise on price, this could be something for you.
As ever, its touchpad doubles as a secondary LCD, which you can customize to do
things like launch apps and change profiles. We actually saw the so-called
Switchblade UI that is very attractive, but it needs to work, and we will not
see it as leading features.

Although it does not provide the power for your
money, Blade is shocking for this thin and light weight computer. It is the
amazing laptop, but only for those who vibrate money.

Alienware M14X
Dell may kill M11x, but a 14-inch M14x is currently
the smallest, lightest system in Alienware line. With $ 1,000 and up, it is
more expensive than Blade, but on the contrary, it is the starting point for
dual-core Core i5 processor, 1,366x768 screen and no ExpressCache to help drive
improved performance. If you need more power, M17x 17-inch is one of our
favorite gaming laptops, and with prices starting at $1,499 more reasonable.
The only reason we did not chose it as one of our three options is a starting
weight of 11.6 pounds, it is not nearly a mobile products.

W110ER
As the spiritual successor to discontinued
M11x, Clevo W110ER is 11-inch computer that you will see under various brands,
includes Maingear and Origin. Interestingly, although it has the same size with
netbook than a laptop, it is comparable to the M14x in most specifications, the
graphics can transform (GeForce GT 650M 2GB GPU) and quad core Core i7-3840QM
2.8GHz CPU. It can also support up to 16GB of RAM and 2.5 inch hard drive
(storage capacity depends on the OEM you bought it). However, unfortunately the
screen resolution is fixed to 1,366x768. Unfortunately for a common computer
starts around $1,000.
