Google Nexus 10 has strong configuration. It
has impressed display screen, its design is not beautiful and lacks 3G
connection.

Nexus 10 uses processor with dual core
Samsung Exynos that clocks 1,7GHz and 2GB in Ram memory, 10,5 inch Super PLS
screen, 2,650x1,600 pixel resolution. Its price is about $399 for 16GB version.
It is cheaper than iPad 4 that have the same capacity with $95. Nexus 10 also
has 32GB version with $495.
Design and composition
Nexus 10 has stable design. It has angles
and sides that are made with rounded curve, and this thing will help us feel
comfortable to hand it in hands. Nexus 10 is affected by Samsung about size,
pressing button, speakerphone that can be seen in some types such as Galaxy
Note II, Tab II 10.1.

Nexus 10 has size 203.9x177.6x8.9 mm. It is
thinner than iPad 4 (9,4mm) and it is similar to Samsung Note 10.1. In
addition, with 603 grams, Nexus 10 is heavier than other 10 inch tablets.
However, it is lighter 50 grams than iPad 4 (652 grams).
Comparing
with competitors, Nexus is improved and it is thinner with size 8.9 mm.
Lexus 10’s composition is not as luxurious
as products with monolithic aluminum cover. However, its design is rather
impressed with stable plastic body, so users don’t have to worry about battered
phenomenon if it is impacted strongly.

Unfortunately, Nexus 10 doesn’t have slot
of memory card, so users cannot widen storing space. Especially, people who use
16 GB version will have difficulty because Lexus 10 tends to serve for
entertainment, listening to music and watching film.
Another bad point of Google Nexus is that
it doesn’t remain design with deep grain on the back side. Nexus 10 remains a
range of this grain at vertical and at camera’s position in the back. Without
this grain, users are easily slippery if sweat stick in the back side.

Comparing with iPad 4, Nexus 10’s design is
clearly different. Gate using to connect with computer and camera of iPad are
put at short edges while they are put on long edges to Nexus 10.

Nexus’s loudspeaker system is put in 2
short edges that are often hidden in using. Although using loudspeaker also has
some effects, its quality isn’t too bad.
If users often move, Nexus 10 will cause
many disadvantages because it isn’t integrated to connect with 3G.
Screen, configuration and features
Nexus 10 has 10-inch screen with the rate
of 16:10, so it makes picture’s quality sharp, brings the maximum contrast,
large view suitable with entertaining demand. Moreover, screen also can prevent
scratch with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 force mirror.

Samsung described this success due to RGB
technological screen (True RGB Real Stripe PLS). This technology makes density
of real pixels higher than the previous Pen Tile screens. Pen Tile’s pixel is
created from 8 extra pixels while Real-Stripe has 12 pixels.
Nexus’s parameter is higher than Retina
screen of iPad with 2,054x1,536 pixels on screen. In reality, quality of image
and color on iPad 4 is rather soft while Nexus 10 is colorful and sharp.
The 16:10 screen rate is relatively
especial. This rate is suitable with the demand of watching film, entertaining,
paying games while tasks about reading story or web browser is not as
comfortable as iPad. Most of applications about editing document, tabulation,
web browser optimize for 4:3 screen rate.
Nexus is integrated with the newest and
independent Android 4.2 because Google itself develops it. In reality, when we
use it, we will realize that it is smooth and has the high speed on multipoint
screen. Simple configuration makes us feel bored and the new feature is not as
remarkable as the old one.
The most impressing thing is that Multi
Screen Sharing feature allows you to personalize Nexus 10’s configuration
according to hobby including screen of homepage (Home), background, and
Applications.
Virtual keyboard allows us to recognize
alphabets or text (Gesture Type). It is rather interesting and similar to Swype
or Swift Key. This feature allows users to slide their fingers on characters;
however, Gesture Type is suitable with using equipment with one hand, and it is
not useful enough to 10-inch tablet.

Some other typical features such as map,
memory calendar and Google’s applications are rather good. Gmail is equipped
with new feature that allows us to follow, read mails at the same time,
enlarge, zoom out the content that we pay attention. In addition, “swipe-to-delete”
feature allows touching on screen lightly. It is very quickly and convenient.
