Huawei is quite successful in
creating phones with nice, lightweight and fashionable design. Anti-scratch and

Being the second generation in the
ultra-phone series of Huawei, Ascend P1 XL still has traditional style with the
thickness of only 9.9 mm. The thickness can increase a little to create more
places for the high capacity battery which is up to 2,600 mAh. Slightly curved
back cover helps the users to hold the phone more comfortably and firmly. The

The back cover of the phone is made from
carbon, painted as matte black. This cover has good anti-scratch and
anti-fingerprint features. On the back of the phone, beside 8-megapixel camera,
there is a speakerphone at the bottom. Due to the monolithic design, SIM slot
and memory card slot is pushed to the sides. These 2 slots have anti-dust cover
and at the same time, make the phone slimmer. The keys of P1 XL are big and
tough, painted with the same color as the back cover.
The front is covered with a layer of
Gorilla Glass which can resist scratch and light impact and extends to the
borders. The edges of the screen are slim. In spite of the 4.3-inch big-sized
screen, the overall size P1 XL is still compact; comfortable when holding and
easy to operate with one hand. Three sensitive keys underneath will be lit every
time the screen is turned on, they are quite sensitive during using process.

along with GPU SGX540. RAM 1 GB LPDDR2 with 8 GB storage capacity, expandable
memory card slot support micro SD card with the capacity up to 32 GB. This
configuration is enough for users to be comfortable in having essential needs
on a smartphone, from web-surfing to reading newspaper and playing heavy games.
Huawei also equips this phone with many
“toys” inside such as A.I.P.S (Artificial Intelligence Power Scaling) which
helps to maximize the power consumption efficiency of processing chip. In
addition, Huawei also enhances the tuning and connecting capabilities to keep
the battery timer longer. Therefore, with the 2,600 mAh capacity battery, the
phone can be used from 2 to 3 days in normal operating condition.
