URC Total: Control

URC has developed Total Control Mobile, a fully functional app for the iPhone and iPad which allows complete access to the Total Control system. Available through AWE, it provides an experience similar to that of the TKP-2000 touch screen and offers support for third party modules. This app supports the range of URC touch screens and controllers and offers up an extra solution which dealers are requesting. A sales demo of the app is now available from iTunes as a free download.

RTiPanel: app

The RTiPanel app from, unsurprisingly, RTI, brings the power of the company’s control solutions to the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and, most recently, Android devices, allowing them to become the interface for RTI control systems. With the app installed on any of these popular smart-products, users will have complete control of their music from anywhere in the home and beyond.

The app can access an RTI control system locally or remotely, allowing users to adjust audio/ video, lights, climate and other integrated systems. Control system programming is stored on the chosen mobile device and updated automatically when any changes are made, using the same Integration Designer software that is used for all RTI products, via a completely customizable graphical interface.

Highly optimized for fast connection times, the RTiPanel app supports local connection via Wi-Fi and remote connection via Wi-Fi or 3G, with automatic switching. In addition, it supports the creation of both portrait and landscape views, with minimal extra programming required, as well as supporting full two-way feedback, including cover art, graphics, text, dynamic scrolling lists and more.
