4.99-inch screen, Full HD resolution (high possibility)

2013 marks a massive appearance of smartphones using the screens with Full HD resolution, so it’s sure that Galaxy S IV won’t be out of this trend. SamMobile has revealed that Galaxy S IV screen will belong to the OLED type and save more 25%voltage than the old generation. Specifically, this type of screen will be made by AMOLED tech with the name of "green PHOLED".

This OLED tech will use green and blue fluorescent with red phosphorescence (luminous) to display the images on the Galaxy S IV screen in order to save consuming power. It’s not just that, "green PHOLED" will never reduce the displayed quality on the Galaxy S IV screen.

Flexible screen that can bend backwards (low possibility)

Previously, there is lots of info considered that the Korean phone manufacturers is in a process of  making flexible screen to equip for its devices and Galaxy S IV may be the first one to be applied with that thing. However, the possibility of this thing, for now, is not high because flexible-screen tech needs more time to perfect itself.

The future of flexible screen is not far.

Using Exynos 5 Octa (high possibility)

Imagination Technologies, the technology firm expertized in GPU PowerVR line has just affirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S IV phone will run the Exynos 5 Octa microprocessor. This new-generation chipset line of Samsung will run GPU PowerVR SGX 544MP3 of Imagination instead of the Mali design from ARM.

Previously, Nexus 10 tablet, the product from the corporation of the Korean electronics firms and the giant Google has used the Exynos 5 chipset but used the Mali T604 graphics core of ARM. According to the AnandTech page, GPU PowerVR SGX 544MP3 integrated in Exynos 5 Octa chipset has 3-core design that runs at 533 MHz and is able to reach the speed of 51.1 GFLOPS.

At present, most of the “A” chips of Apple are all using GPU PowerVR. But in fact, Apple is a major shareholder of Imagination, which takes over 10% of the shares. According to the up-to-date comparisons, the graphics performance iPad 4 or iPhone 5 that possesses GPU PowerVR is amazing, defeating continuously the rivals in the standard benchmarks. So, Samsung equipping the GPU PowerVR design for sure will be absolutely good news to Galaxy S IV users.

The reason Samsung moves onto the GPU PowerVR line is because the firm is having some problem with Mali design originated from ARM. Currently, ARM has stopped developing Mali-T604 using on Nexus 10 and Mali-T658 to focus on the 2nd-generation Midgard design in Mali-T624. Therefore, Samsung can’t be able to integrate T624 in Exynos 5 Octa processors, or basically, ARM can’t complete its design.

The similar design as the predecessors Galaxy S III hay Note II (high possibility)

Recently, after publishing 2 video teasers about the Galaxy S IV phone, Samsung continues to post the photo of this smartphone on Twitter.

The photo that has just been revealed is intentionally darkened by Samsung to keep the secret till the last minute. However, we are still able to have a preliminary picture about the shape of the Galaxy S IV. Using plastic cover and 4 strong-rounded corners, S IV may still have much of remotely relative design S III hay Note II at present.
