Besides the 10.1-inch version, Galaxy Tab 2
series of Samsung has a tiny version: it is the 7-inch Tab 2. With 7-inch
screen, this tablet is quite tiny when holding it in hand and it is very ideal
for reading and surfing webs. Its design is fairly identical to Tab 2 10.1
wholly. However, 2 speakers are located at the bottom. The cover is made of
plastic which makes it light for holding but it has greater thickness than Tab
7.0 Plus.

With the thickness of 10.5mm, it is quite
thick but delivers a feeling of solidity to compensate. The backside is covered
with a paint layer which looks like metal, making it look luxury and solid. The
appearance is tapering so you can hold it with one hand. There is a SIM slot so
you can call and send SMS on this 7-inch tablet. Other functions and
configuration are similar to Tab 210.1 so processing speed is quite fast on
Android 4.0.
