Demon Performance Centre’s 380bhp
third-generation Focus is believed to be the fastest Mk3 ST in the UK. Not bad
for a more-door that doubles up as a family runabout!
As you’d expect, another mapping session
was required as soon as the Loba was in place, and Revo worked their magic to
the tune of 380bhp after adding one of their own induction kits. That’s a
perfectly respectable figure in light of the continued use of the Ford’s
standard fuel pump and injectors, and Pete is sure that the ST is capable of
delivering much more with further under-bonnet modification – a tempting
thought for prospective Demon customers now that the company is offering all of
the aforementioned Mk3 updates as a complete package.
