with all the modes are represented by colorful icons spread clear over the

enough, at 3 inches.

battery
The main attractions when using Wi-Fi are
the ability to upload directly to Facebook and connect to a smart phone to
transfer photos and use as a mobile viewfinder. All with just a simple process
of connecting your Wi-Fi connection and follow instructions on the screen.
Working with smartphones, you will also need to download the apps on the devices.

Some of the red-eye phenomenon can be seen
in the portraits with flash, although the color is good. Color and exposure are
quite good, with good color reproduction process.
Lens
test images
Lens
test images
Image is soft in the corners, although
details are generally good in the rest of the image, as well as when zoomed in.
Digital zoom is best avoided, unless you plan on sharing web such as Facebook,
where the image will be resized. Some purple fringing is visible, although this
is most noticeable in high contrast areas, and not a big deal in most photos. Dynamic
range is good, and can be extended by using the backlight scene mode.
ISO

ISO
test images
The noise is low at ISO80 and ISO100. The
increased noise at ISO 200, with a few details missing. The noise increases
again at ISO400 with more detail than is lost. Image becomes softer at ISO800,
although the results seem to be acceptable. The highest noise at ISO3200, with
a lot of detail is lost, and this setting is best avoided, though ISO1600 is
perhaps the most significant result, especially in the case of reduced size.
White-balance
test images
White
balance test images
Automatic white balance (AWB) works well
under tungsten light with a slightly warm results, and tungsten preset for more
neutral results. AWB performed very well under fluorescent light, with presets
the fluorescent light giving slight color detail, so it is best to balance AWB.
Panorama
Panorama mode allows you to pan camera from
one place to another while holding the shutter button down. The camera
automatically stitches images together while you shoot. With low resolution and
poor detail, they are best used for sharing on the web.
Digital
filters
Digital
filters
There are a number of scene modes, frame
selection, as well as digital effects, including miniature, vignette, artistic
effects, chopped screen, sketch, soft focus, fisheye, old film, half-tone,
monochrome, retro, zoom, as well as some split image options
Video
Video is recorded at 720p (1,280x720) at
30fps with mono sound and optical zoom is available while recording. You can
also pause the video while recording. The quality is reasonable, although it
would be better thanks to the optical image stabilisation that this camera does
not have.
