Performance

Before conducting our experiment, we want to note that the GeForce GTX Titan was tested under standard conditions, similar to the rest of the graphics cards, the default operating mode of it, like or with the computer system cover, with voltage and temperature and the fan default automatically adjusted. But in its overclocked mode, the GeForce GTX Titan was tested in the open chassis, with its fan turning at full speed and with maximum power and temperature adjusted manually at their highest level.

3DMark 2011

The new card had a very fast opening in our tests. While the GeForce GTX 680 is equivalent to the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition, Nvidia’s leading graphics cards with single GPU was 30% faster than other products. On the other hand, the GeForce GTX Titan cannot fight well with the GeForce GTX 680: the 5% gap although the Titan has been overclocked.

3D Mark 2013

We can see a similar picture in each experiment from the latest version of 3DMark. The GeForce GTX Titan is about 40% faster than the GeForce GTX 680 and slower from 4 to 16% compared to the GeForce GTX 690. However, the overclocking process makes it nearly reach the top position. Note that the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition faster than the GeForce GTX 680, so the Titan improves the overall position for Nvidia in the grading system.

And once again, we see that the GeForce GTX 680 is equal to the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition, the following form but also a very small percentage, while the GeForce GTX Titan is faster than the remaining samples. The Titan, in reality, is 45% faster than the leading Nvidia's previous version with single GPU, and even challenges the GeForce GTX 690 with dual processor overclocked. However, the default settings, the GTX 690 Titanium are 32% faster. There are many things to consider why we have proposed a similar price.

The process of grading systems offers the similar picture in Unigine Heaven. We guess we'll use only one version of the Unigine to review our future.
