First Impressions
Kareena Kapoor might be endorsing this
particular phone, but it might take a bit more for people to really drool over
it and make them buy it immediately. It does look 'inspired' by the iPhone
design somewhat, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it is a nice looking
phone which seems to have a decent enough build quality. So, will the 4.5"
form factor with qHD resolution coupled with a dual-core processor and 1GB of
RAM be good enough to win hearts?

Review
Even though we didn't quite like the plastic
quality of the build in this phone, it did feel rather nice in the hand to hold
and operate. It's not the best of grips, but the plastic-ness is kept under
control and some observers were even fooled into thinking we were using the
iPhone rather than the iBall Andi. The handset is all glossy white with silver
lines covering part of the top and bottom side. There are 3 touch sensitive
back-lit buttons on front side. The power and 3.5mm jack is present on the top,
volume rockers on the left and Micro USB port on the bottom. Running on the
slightly old Android 4.0 OS is a bit of a downer, though hardware-wise it's a
pretty picture with its MT6577 dual core processor clocked at 1GHz coupled with
PowerVR SGX 531 GPU. The RAM is 1GB and internal storage is 4GB. Performance
was nice and smooth as proven by our benchmark testing results, which actually
put it on par with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Gaming and multimedia was fairly
good too, the phone managed to play 720p videos without hiccups and most high-end
games ran smoothly. Google integration is spot-on as expected and the overall
Android experience is pure stock, without any customizations from iBall
themselves. Call quality, browsing over 3G and Wi-Fi as well as video-calling
over some apps was quite good overall, again matching the performance of the
phones in the same category we mentioned earlier.

Camera
The handset comes with a front VGA camera
with native video calling support and a rear camera of 8MP resolution with Auto
Focus and LED flash. The camera performance is near about the same as we have
seen on the Micromax A110, Micromax A90s, Karbonn A30 and other handsets. The
camera can also record videos in 720p resolution with infinity focus or
continuous auto focus.

Verdict
The I'm Watch is nothing but a fancy gadget
but offers very little functionality. Only swanky in looks, the watch fails to
impress when it comes to serving the purpose for which one may purchase it.
Priced at above $365 there are several products out there that can replace this
one at such a high budget. Overall, one can let this one pass.
