Through practices as well as tests of tools like Quadrant, SunSpider, BrowserMark, Nenamark2 and Linpack, we realized that KingCom Joypad is quite capable of serving web browsing and regular gaming. When marked by Quadrant, total result of Joypad C72 is a little higher than that (1,719 points) of Joypad C71. Even with integrated web browser, Joypad C72 could give us a good experience through webs with many Flash contents.

In test of HD movie playing, we saw that Joypad well supported HD 720p contents in various formats. Quick action scenes were smoothly reproduced with no lagging (like on other common tablets). With Full HD movies (1080p), there was a little lag but this was acceptable. Integrated speakers delivered medium sound and they are more comfortable than enclosed earphones.

Joypad C72’s touchscreen owns high sensitivity even with multi-point interactions such as zoom in/out, double-tap and quick scan to change screen. Despite nice color display with clear small texts, the 7inch screen still had reflection and limited viewing-angle under outdoor conditions.

By setting of maximum brightness, after 4.5-hour experience with movies, music, web browsing and games, the tablet’s back didn’t get too hot and battery still had 10% of capacity left, this was such an appealing figure among mid-class tablets.

Overall, with the same size of other 7-inch tablet and 366g weight, Joypad C72 can be simply interacted by just one hand. Besides, touch buttons are appropriately situated. They can be conformably touched by either left hand or right hand in Android 4.0 interface. However, the model’s back has low friction surface, which is not so easy for users having regular hand sweat.

RRP is $140.
