Sony Xperia Go

9/6/2012 9:24:07 AM

This mid-class smartphone, which is water-proof, anti-dust, has just been released into the market.

Xperia Go share common design with Xperia Sola. Both are from Sony. The smartphone is water-proof and anti-dust, following IP-67 standard. It can resist a condition that is 30m under the water within 30 minutes. Besides, this product has 3.5-inch screen plus Reality technology but its resolution is only 480 x 320 pixels. Moreover, this model is equipped with NovaThor U8500 dual-core chip (1GHz), 4GB of internal memory which can be extended by memory card. XperiaGo operates on Android 2.3.

RRP is $425, lower than Sola’s price but higher than the price of Xperia U by exactly $50. With nice design and many features for travelers, Xperia Go is a remarkable one among mid-class smartphones.

This model will succeed Sony’s Xperia Active. Compared with previous model, although there’s no considerable upgrade of specs, Xperia Go has a design that is more in shape and fashionable.
