New Sony’s compact camera RX100 is equipped
with 1inch sensor and supposed to be sold for $750 in August.
RX100 comes with even 1inch sensor,
equivalent to Nikon mirror-less 1 series. Besides, the sensor has 20.2MP
resolution.
DSC-RX100 owns 3.6x optical zoom, 28-100mm
focal length, f/1.8-4/9 aperture and anti-shake technology. This device can
produce RAW format, support 100-25,600 ISO and record Full HD 1080p videos (60fps)
and still images with 17MP resolution (16:9). Furthermore, Sony also gives this
camera an adjustment ring for setting parameters.
DSC-RX100 is Sony’s first compact camera
which is equipped with White Magic technology on LCD screen. This enhances brightness
for outdoor activities but uses less energy. Screen size is 3inch and the
resolution is 1,228,000 pixels.
Sony’s hi-end compact model has an
aluminum-alloyed case, weighs 230 gram and seizes 102 x 59 x 36 mm. After each
recharge, this camera can capture 330 shots.
