Quad-core powered range hits the streets

Dell turns up with several models to shout about at once.
The XPS 8500 desktop
The models in question are the firm’s XPS
X8500 and Vostro 470 desktops, plus its Inspiron Special Edition series for
families.
First, the XPS 8500 desktop delivers Intel
Core i5 and i7 quad-core power along with performance graphics options from
NVidia and AMD, USB 3.0, mSATAsoild-state drive options, and up to 3TB 7200RPM
hard drives plus up to 16GB 1600MHz memory.
The Vostro 470 mini-tower desktop delivers
an i5 or i7-powered performance with Intel Smart Response technology for fast
access to applications. The model comes with discrete graphics options, USB
3.0, up to 2TB storage and 12GB memory, plus Dell’s support options like its
DataSafe Online Backup.

The Inspiron Special Edition laptops are so
called because they feature enhanced multimedia capabilities and premium audio.
The series comes with an Intel i7 processor option, backlit keyboards, and
mSATA SSD with Intel Rapid Smart and Smart Response for fast boot, sleep and
response times.
Pricing for the desktops starts at $973.5
for the XPS 8500 and $553.5 for the Vostro 470, while the laptops will be made
