On the Quick Launch bar, click Queries.
On the Queries page, click the eDiscovery query that you want to export.
Scroll to the bottom for that query and click Export.
When exporting results for the very first time only on a new computer, ensure that you download a report before downloading results. An issue with the download helper can cause the pre-release version of Office 365 to fail if downloading results first.
On some systems, you might be prompted with a security warning in a pop-up message box upon export, indicating that the publisher cannot be verified. Click the Run button if it appears.
On the Export: New Item page, select your export options.
Click OK.
In the Export: Download dialog box, click Download Report to download a report of all findings, or click Download Results to download the actual content files that were identified. If you are prompted to sign in, click the Sign In button and enter your password.
In the eDiscovery Download Manager dialog box, select an export destination.
Navigate to your export folder by clicking the Export Location link when complete.
Some of the export options apply to email, which you can ignore unless you will also be exporting email managed by Office 365.
