With Android 2.3 operating system, LG Optimus L3 has full features of entertainment and work. Android Market and LG Smart World application stores exclusively offer users hundreds of different software and most of them are free. Located in smartphone range with common price, around 150USD, but LG mobile phone is still equipped with full connections.

With 3G and Wi-Fi, Optimus L3 can surf the web quite fast.

The model comes with 3.5G connection with HSDPA standard for 3.6MB download speed per second, along with Wi-Fi. Actual test shows that the ability to connect the internet of Optimus L3 is quite good. It takes about 8 to 9 seconds to download a standard website, but just 2 to 3 seconds with mobile version of the web. This small smartphone of LG is also able to provide mobile Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi Hospot) as well as common Bluetooth connectivity.

Traditionally, Optimus L3 is equipped with graphic Optimus UI interface changed and re-designed compared to the original interface of Android 2.3, so it gives users large and colorful icons which are more convenient. LG also adds new Widgets allowing users to access and update information on the home screen.

Karaoke application on LG Optimus L3

Like its senior, LG Optimus L3 is integrated applications to link social networks, Google Maps, Youtube and mail management applications for work. However, the most interesting is that this model also has Karaoke application on mobile phone, Ping Karaoke. It is an application that entertains users by singing on the cell phone.

Ping Karaoke is designed simply but it is quite useful when it allows recording directly songs to the memory card. Besides that, music store is arranged tidily in genres including Vietnamese and foreign songs. It has high quality and plays music like karaoke services on the computer, which help it appeal to users.

In addition, LG Optimus L3 is also equipped with usual entertainment features such as music, movies or photos with 1GB of internal memory and expandable memory card up to 32GB. 3-megapixel camera is located on the back of LG Optimus L3 but there is no flash.

Camera can boot and capture rapidly. It is integrated shooting modes such as “portrait”, “landscape” or “sport” with auto focus mode. However, because it lacks of flash and the screen has low resolution and supports fewer colors, photos displaying on the mobile phone are not brilliant and beautiful though sharpness and noise reduction is acceptable with that price.

Furthermore, film recording feature on LG Optimus L3 is not impressive due to the low resolution. Recorded videos have 640 x 480 pixel actual resolution and 24 frames per second.

Performance and battery

Being over 150USD, LG Optimus L3 is equipped with common configuration using 800 MHz processor, 384MB of RAM. Experimenting with Quadrant Standard Benchmark, it offers nearly 1,300 marks.

In fact, LG Optimus L3 is the popular smartphone that can work quite well over the price. On the home screen or system management interface, when users drag or slide, the phone is not lagged but it runs transition effects smoothly. When surfing the web, entering data or accessing to third-party applications, the phone has short response time, low and absolutely acceptable lateness.

The shortcoming of the phone is that it can handle most 2D games well such as Angry Bird, Plant vs Zombie but it can’t definitely process high-quality graphic 3D games such as Mordern Combat and Asphalt 6. Testing with moderate graphic 3D games such as Fruit Ninja, the cheap model of LG runs quite well; images are soft and it is hardly lagged. If you can select suitable software, LG Optimus L3 is the Android smartphone whose configuration can meet the demand well over the price.

It has long battery duration.

With a small screen, low resolution and common configuration, LG Optimus L3 can operate quite long compared with many Android smartphone, because of 1.540 mAh battery. Setting up 3G connection, opening mail sync function, connecting to social networks, LG phone allows users to use it continuously during one day. Turning into EGDE connection, the battery duration continue increasing and users can use it in 2 days.
