Smartphone version of popular browser
available
Fans of Google Chrome can finally get the web browser
in their Android smartphones and tablets as the Chrome for Android Beta is out
for users. It offers the same experience users seen on Chrome to the Android
4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone or tablet.
Users can stay tuned for more updates once
it is out from the beta version.
Like the desktop version, Chrome for
Android Beta is focused on speed and simplicity, but it also features sign-in
and sync so users can take personalized web browsing experience wherever they
go, across devices.
Chrome
for Android Beta
Chrome for Android is designed with
re-imagined tabs so they fit just as naturally on a small-screen phone as they
do on a larger screen tablet. If users sign into Chrome on an Android device,
users can access the tabs left open on the computer (also signed into
Chrome)-picking up exactly where you left off.
If users visit a site often on the
computer, there will be an auto complete suggestion on the mobile device, so
that translate to less time typing. Conveniently with everything sync, users
can easily access their bookmarked sites no matter where they are.
With
Chrome for Android beta it is now possible to request the desktop version of a

With Chrome for Android beta it is now
possible to request the desktop version of a website, in case the mobile
version doesn't cut it. The mobile web browser now detects email addresses and
phone numbers on web pages. So users are just one press away from composing an
email or making a phone call.
The Chrome for Android Beta is now
available in Google Play on your Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, phone or
tablet for free.
