Tiki USB Microphone - Fluent talking

12/22/2012 6:32:24 PM

Skype is great for contacting friends and colleagues faraway, but let’s admit that: sound, which is empty and incoherent, from Mac’s integrated microphone can be improved. Blue Mics had intention of solving the problem with Tiki, a USB micorphone designed to improve Skype calls. Without the help of any software, Tiki uses internal electronic components to process sound and enhance call quality.

Tiki – Fluent talking

By default, Tiki runs in Intelligent Speech. Dual-capsule microphone listens to your talk and quickly turns silent when you stop talking. It is simple and automatic, resulting in less noise coming from your side. Tiki also processes your signal, reduces background noises, such as typing sound or TV sound in another room…

When you start talking again, Tiki immediately returns and your chatting friend will be satisfied. And be assured that Tiki’s LED can change its color to let you know what’s happening. The light turns from blue to orange when you are silent. Using Tiki, you will see the difference instantly in sound quality and there would be no clatter once Tiki automatically turns active/inactive during the talk.

Tiki also has Natural Recording mode which stops silence and turns off noise reduction. It’s wonderful for recording meeting, podcasting and even live instruments. All needed to enter Natural Recording to a quick pressing onto the button at the end of Tiki.
