The New Collection Of Sony In-Ear Headphones

The headphones from XBA Series are equipped with 2-3 Balanced Amateur Drivers and well-compatibly designed for devices running with iOS.

Continue the success of the XBA series first edition which were introduced nearly a year ago, Sony continues to announce the new collection which also uses Balanced Amateur Driver but has a more attractive price and fascinating designed look.

Sony XBA-10 In-ear (Silver) Earphones

The new collection introduced this time includes 4 products with an in-turn name of XBA-10, XBA-20, XBA-30, XBA-40, and 4 products with same code but have the suffix “iP” ( such as XBA-10iP, XBA-20iP...) which will reach toward the iPhone, iPad, iPod users. The users can choose one from 2 different color versions for each model, which is fresh yellow or silver.

XBA-20 is equipped with dual Balanced Amateur Drivers.

The same as XBA-Series headphones which were introduced, these new sets of headphones have the in-ear design with the number of driver from 1, 2, 3 to 4 Balanced Amateur Drivers in correlation with the product codes. Particularly, Sony XBA-10 only uses one Balanced Amateur Driver, whereas Sony XBA-40 is equipped with 4 Balanced Amateur Drivers in each woofer.

Sony XBA-30 is equipped with 3 Balanced Amateur Drivers.

The features of Balanced Amateur Drivers are that the size of the design is equal to a quarter of a 13.5 Dynamic driver which is usually used by Sony, but have higher  vibration level and the ability of recreating sound which is much realer. It is thanks to the compact design that Sony can add 2, 3 to 4 Balanced Amateur Drivers into the same woofer which supports to recreate a frequency range in order to increase the level of detail for sound.

Sony XBA-40 In-ear (Silver) Earphones

Besides, this new collection also uses “Double Layered Housing” design (temporary translated as dual chamber system) including a plastic cover to resist outside vibration and a part of the special metal frame inside to store Balanced Amateur Driver.

Having the same design as XBA-40 model, but model with “iP” suffix like Sony XBA-40iP is equipped with the remote control right on the signal cable.

Sony XBA-20, Sony XBA-30 and Sony XBA-40 support the frequency range from 4 Hz to 25.000Hz. The Sony XBA-10 model can only meet the range from 5 HZ to 25000 Hz. All the new XBA-Series headphones introduced by Sony this time is equipped with signal cable (1.2 m long) made from pure copper so as to increase the  transmission capacity. As for the model with “iP” suffix right after the product code, they are equipped with remote control on the cable which is well compatible with devices from the “Apple” house.
