Use Photoshop Touch To Edit Your Photos

7/13/2012 11:47:59 AM

Make profeesional photo edits and add effects while on the move with this app for Android and iPad 2

There are plenty of photo- editing apps available on mobile devices but most of them just focus on basic edits like cropping and straightening horizons. Adobe’s Photoshop Touch, however, brings you so much more, making it possible to complete full photo- editing projects while on the move. From retouching with the clone tool to creating layers and making accurate selections, many features are brought to you in this small package. While it does not come close to the amount of options offered in the computer version of Photoshop, for $9.99- a fraction of the Mac and PC price- and the ability to edit on the go this is an excellent little package.

The app is currently available for Android version 3.1 and up and iPad 2, and both version work in the same way. Photoshop touch is user- friendly, with all tools being easily accessible and intuitive to get to grips with. It is not as accuarate as using a mouse, but the touch controls work very well.

In this step- by- step guide, we show you how to replace the sky on an image- a handy edut because clouds can be so unpredictable when you are shooting. By using the app’s Layers function, you can make all of these changes on a duplicate copy of your photo so you can return to the original if your edits do not go the way you wish. With this simple touch- control tutorial, your image will be transformed into something much more dramatic.
