The US Sigma has just officially announced
the price and other details of APO Macro 180mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens that has
been unveiled last January.

Sigma revealed that this is the first 180mm
F2.8 macro lens all over the world that offers a magnification ratio of 1:1.
This product is equipped with Optical Stabilizer Technology, inner focus system
and three “F” Low Dispersion glass elements having a performance equal to
fluorite glass. Super Multi-Layer Coating feature reduces flare and ghosting
and delivers sharp and high contrast images even at maximum aperture. Sigma’s
APO Macro 180mm F2.8 will be sold in US market at first on July 27th
with a price of 1,699 USD but it is only compatible with the Sigma SA mount for
its own DSLR.
