Panasonic has just unveiled the new travel camera belonging to Lumix series named SZ5 with optical zoom 10x and Wi-Fi connection.

This is one of the rare cameras which are equipped with Wi-Fi function which enables users to share images with others. Not that all, Lumix Link available in app store for Android and iOS will help users to use smartphone to control SZ5 such as taking, auto focusing, zooming, reviewing and live viewing from smartphone at 30 frames per second. Although there is no GPSS chip, with a smartphone with you and Wi-Fi connection, users can tag the geographic location for images.

Wi-Fi connection is a prominent trait on SZ5. In addition, the new model of Panasonic is equipped with wide-angle lens of Leica with 25mm focal length, zoom 10x, CCD 14.1 MP sensor, Intelligent Zoom technology, Venus Engine Editing Kit and 3-inch LCD screen. Image sensor enables it to record MP4 HD videos at 30 fps. Some integrated technologies are Mega IOS (image stabilization), face-detect, auto-focus, smart ISO, Auto Retouch, available special effects, etc. Lumix Sz5 will be sold in black and white. The price is unknown yet.
