Canon PIXMA MG6350 All-In-One Colour Printer
With its stylish, low-profile design, you could be forgiven for mistaking Canon’s PIXMA MG6350 for its cheaper stalemate, the MG6350 and these two all-in-ones do indeed share many features.
IRISCard Anywhere 5 Business Cards Scanner
Despite Bluetooth offering the wireless streaming of data over short distances, many people still prefer to hand out business cards, engraved with personal details, like sweets even, ironically, when attending an event promoting Bluetooth technology.
Epson WorkForce WF-3540 DTWF Printer - It’s The Business
As with most other Epson all-in-ones, the WorkForce WF-3540DTWF’s memory card slots default to storage mode, letting you read or write their contents form a connected Mac. It’s a particularly sensible default for this office-focused device, but there’s also a good menu system for making direct photo prints if you need to.
Epson Expression Photo XP-750 - Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer
The Expression Photo XP-750 is an inkjet multifunction printer designed for people who want to print, scan and copy photos, and has impressive specifications to match. There’s a high-resolution scanner for capturing finer details of photographs, and support for printing directly from memory cards, including the widely used SD type.
JVC DLA-X35 - Premium Projection On A Budget (Part 2)
The DLA-X35 features a 120Hz Clear Motion Drive, which does a reasonable job with motion resolution. Minimizing blur without overcooking the video sheen characteristic of faster refresh rates.
JVC DLA-X35 - Premium Projection On A Budget (Part 1)
It says much that JVC’s entry-level projector comes in where other brands’ high-end offerings sign off. Priced at $4,350, it looks a veritable bargain when viewed alongside the company’s $15,000 bespoke DLA-X95R flagship.
Epson EH-TW8100 - Epson Introduces The Inbetweener
The TW8100 doesn’t occupy the exact middle ground between the brand’s new TW6100 and TW9100 projectors, mind you. Its spec puts it closer to the TW9100, and its $3,375 price is also slightly closer to the flagship model, costing around $525 less.
Epson Stylus Photo 1500W A3+ Wi-Fi Printer
With the addition of Wi-Fi connection, the Epson Stylus Photo 1500W is an A3+ photo printer, whose ink cartridges have 6 different colors, and can print with high resolution designed for creating quality photo prints. It is also called with the name Artisan 1430 on some markets.
Plustek OpticFilm 120 Scanner Review (Part 2)
The device itself is made from high quality plastic attached to metal case. Measuring 210x374x189 mm, the scanner only takes as much space as a small printer. You should leave a wide gap to the front and rear for the plastic film carriers to slide through the scanner.
Plustek OpticFilm 120 Scanner Review (Part 1)
The latest Plusteck's film scanner is currently a leading product of the range multi-format model, its price is $3,034 with a maximum 10600dpi resolution, a usable Dynamic Range of 4,01 (with SilverFast Multi-Exposure®/ according to ISO 21550:2004), and theoretically, the maximum density penetrate up to 4.8.
BenQ W703D - Wallet-Friendly Wonder
Having $750 to spend in the AV world would usually get a fairly well featured 40in TV, or maybe a basic 46in LED or 50in plasma. Yet with BenQ’s W703D, it gets you pictures as big as 300in across. This is possible because the W703D is a projector, not a TV. And BenQ swears it’s a true home cinema model rather than some repurposed business/education job.
Canon Pixma Pro-10 A3+ Professional Printer (Part 2)

Canon Pixma Pro-10 A3+ Professional Printer (Part 1)
The PIXMA PRO-10 model replaces the PIXMA Pro9500 MkII model and features a 10-ink pigment-based system with Optimizer Chroma, which makes it become ideal for amateur photographers and semi-professionals to do the job with a variety of media.
Buying Guide: All-In-One Multifunction Printers – May 2013 (Part 3)
If you’re looking for a full range of options, the Brother MFC-J825DW has it all: printing, scanning, a fax machine, double-sided printing and wireless networking.
Buying Guide: All-In-One Multifunction Printers – May 2013 (Part 2)
Canon’s Pixma MP230 is aimed at people who don’t need a top-of-the-range printer and don’t want to spend much money. It’s a compact, no-nonsense device that focuses on basic prints, scans and copier, but you can’t install it on a network or use it to print photos direct from a memory card.
Buying Guide: All-In-One Multifunction Printers – May 2013 (Part 1)
If you’re going to devote desk space to a printer, however, there are good reasons to include a scanner and a copier, too. A multifunction printer may be three times as useful, but it doesn’t cost three times the price of a standalone printer. The extra functions come in handy, even if you don’t use them every day.
HP LaserJet Pro 100 - Compact Color Laser MRP
At first sight, the HP LaserJet Pro 100 is a hefty printer with a footprint of 441 x 421 x 338mm. However, as a color laser multi-function printer (MFP), it is exceptionally small and solid as it fits conveniently even when installed on top of your office table, right beside your desktop.
Printer Upkeep: Inkjet Printer Maintenance Tips
Depending on its importance to your business, a down printer could toss a wrench into a single project or bring down the whole machine, causing everything to grind to a halt. It’s important to make sure your inkjet printer runs reliably for a long time. You can do so by performing simple maintenance tasks on a regular basis.
Printers: Inkjet vs. Laser, And More
If you print mostly text, a black-and-white all-in-one-which also copies and scans documents will usually save you time and money. Most black-and-white lasers churned out 12 or more pages of excellent text for roughly 2 to 4 cents per page. But only one color inkjet, the Lexmark Office Edge Pro 4000, could do that.
How To Choose A Printer That Fits Your Demand
You need to know your own demand, pros/cons of printing technologies as well as how to reach print parameter and other functions.

For People On The Move
Catering to the needs of people on the go, pico projectors project a large image from a small one. Today, these projectors have become so small that they are increasingly being embedded in mobile phones and cameras. Doing away with the need to carry other devices, a few standalone models also support internal memory.
Toshiba NPW20B Short Throw Projector
Mention projectors and stuff like large rooms, big screens, and needing space comes to mind. It’s either that or cinemas and home theatre systems. Oddly enough, many do not think of boardroom meetings or small meeting rooms and how they need projectors as well.
Epson EB-1776W - Perfect Clarity
Epson is usually associated with printers. Or at least that is the impression most would have when they hear the name. It is pretty obvious as to why it is synonymous to printers – the devices it develops and produces have outstanding print outs that is usually unmatched.
3M MP410 Mobile Projector – Petite Puncher
Long gone are the days where hauling a 3kg projector round to meetings is necessary. 3M’s punchy MP410 mini projector is actually so small that, if needs be, it can fit inside a lunch box.
Let There Be Light (Part 2)
While the LV-7392A had no issues receiving a 1080p signal via HDMI (the analog RGB input accepts up to 1,920x1,200 pixel resolution), the image looked the sharpest when it matched the projector’s native XGA resolution. And despite the panel’s 4:3 aspect ratio, 16:9 content showed up pretty nicely when we selected the appropriate aspect ratio setting.
Let There Be Light (Part 1) : Canon LV – 7392A, Epson EB – x15, NEC M311XG, Sony VPL – EX245
Using the M311XG is largely a fuss-free affair thanks to several thoughtful features. For example, the projector can turn itself on when a power cord is attached, or when a PC signal is detected. Also, the sliding lens door disables video and audio when it’s closed. You can enable Eco mode throughout, or rely on the Auto Eco mode to automatically adjust the brightness based on the projected image.
Projectors Awards – Q1 2013 : Panasonic PT-AT6000E, BenQ W1200, Epson EH-TW 4400
The exterior may remain fairly familiar but on the inside much has changed. Designed once more in collaboration with Hollywood filmmakers and the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the projector boosts brightness from 2000 to 2400 lumens, while claimed contrast ratio goes from 300,000:1 to 500,000:1.
HP LaserJet Pro 100 - Compact Color Laser MFP
At first sight, the HP LaserJet Pro 100 is a hefty printer with a footprint of 441 x 421 x 338mm. However, as a color laser multi-function printer (MFP), it is exceptionally small and solid as it fits conveniently even when install LED on top of your office table, right beside your desktop.
Sony VPL-HW50ES – Sony’s Best Home Cinema Projector
We are fans of Sony's Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD) Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) technology. Instead of using normal LCD technology where light passes through internal screens, SXRD uses reflective LCD panels which increase contrast and color accuracy. We were so excited to see Sony's new high-ranking 3D projector, the VPL-HW50ES, which is designed to attract true home cinema enthusiasts.
Brother MFC-J4510DW - An Innovative All-In-One A3 Printer
Brother MFC-J4510DW is not your typical multifunction printer. Lower-than-normal upper face is 185mm deep but it’s wide, with A3 printing support. The paper seems to be loaded on one side to take full advantages of the printer width.
Canon PIXMA IP7250 - Great Print Quality And Paper Handling
The iP7250 is the top model in Canon’s current A4 inkjet line-up. As a single function device, it has no scanner and no memory card reader for making direct photo prints, but it does support AirPlay, so you can output from your iOS devices as well as your Mac.
HP OfficeJet 150 Mobile All-In-One
HP’s OfficeJet 150 is an ultra-compact color inkjet printer, with integrated sheet-fed scanner. With paper tray closed, it measures just 350 x 171 90mm, and weighs in at just 3.1kg. What really makes it special, though, it’s the included Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
Epson EB-475Wi - A Projector With Innovative Mounts And Interactive Features
Projector has low resolution; however, its frame is renovated and it also has interactive features. These things mean that this projector with tendency of education is also a good bargain to creative offices.
Business Smart MFC-J4510DW - A Fast, Innovative Inkjet MFC
On paper (heh), the Brother Business Smart has everything. The multifunction inkjet handles paper from 3.5x5 up to 11x17, in a footprint barely bigger than that, just 18.9 by 11.4 inches, and 7.3 inches high. It can be so compact even while holding 150 sheets of 8.5x11 paper because the paper is loaded, and printed, in landscape orientation, something we haven’t seen before.
Pick A Pico Projector: Four Of The Best And Brightest From The New Crop (Part 2)
The $374 Optoma PK320 may be small, but it’s no light-weight when it comes to features for business and leisure. It’s the only projector in our review group to come with an analog VGA cable (to support older laptops), a remote control, and a built-in viewer for Microsoft Office documents.
Pick A Pico Projector: Four Of The Best And Brightest From The New Crop (Part 1)
The $291 Aaxa P4-X comes with an HDMI input, so you can use it with Blu-ray players and other high-def video sources. Though it offers no on-board storage, it sports a MicroSD card slot and a short cable (Mini-USB to USB) that you can use to connect a USB flash or hard drive.
Epson Expression Premium XP-605 - Comprehensive Printer
XP-605 has a five-inkjet printer which uses the new Claria ink cartridges. We haven’t checked the faded color problem yet, but we think there will be no problem. Epson 5-ink cartridge set includes pigmented black ink for text; cyan, scarlet, yellow and black dye ink for printing pictures.
