Review

Not too many computing peripherals companies have managed to impress us as much as Rapoo, especially with the stress on the build quality and unique features that make their products stand out against the competition. At 5.6mm the E9080 wireless touchpad keyboard is really slim, and the fact that it is made out of a stainless steel plate just add to the quality of the product, though also adds more weight to the product. The literal shine it transmits is quite cool, and the product just feels premium in your hands. All you really have to do is plug the wireless adapter into your USB port and the 2.4GHz wireless spectrum will have you connected in no time. The keys are sharp and not as soft as I expected, but that's not really a bad thing. The feedback is excellent - and the touchpad works well with swipe gestures. It also doubles up as the extended num-pad (if needed) with a 'swipe to unlock' feature for it. It's an ideal device for HTPC (home theater PC) systems as well as anyone looking for a wireless keyboard solution.

Verdict

The only thing going against the E9080 is the price - which I felt was a bit too steep, but the overall build quality and feel certainly justifies it to an extent. The weight is another thing to keep in mind, but nothing that will prove to be a deal-breaker. This Rapoo wireless keyboard is certainly meant with the user in mind and you won't be disappointed with it in any case.
