Battery life is supposed to deal with 190 shots, according to CIPA test result. It would be lower in case you use Wi-Fi too much thus when travel, it’s recommended to bring along a back-up battery. We took many shots to test the camera’s responsiveness, from switch on to first photo, shot to shot, focusing speed… We shot many times and counted the average to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the result, for easy comparison with other models.

ISO noise

Noise is low at ISO 100 and 200 but a little noise at ISO 400 affect image quality. At ISO 800, noise makes image blurred and at ISO 1600, image loses details. At ISO 1600 and above, image size shrinks and so does the quality.

White balance performance

Under Tungsten light, auto white balance (AWB) creates image with orange cast; at Incandescent preset, image has better quality. Under Fluorescent light, AWB deals with image as effectively as Incandescent preset.
