technology and configuration than the previous ones. For example, computer

In addition, computer’s design is thin,
small and its screen doesn’t have border. When we put in on our desk, we feel
that it is similar to a big digital picture frame. It is thin from 3.5 cm to 4.3cm
and its weight is 9.2 kilograms. Consequently, it is convenient for
transporting and installing.

2 speakerphones are designed according to
hiding form on the front side of screen. Heating slot is in the middle. This part’s
design is too narrow, so heating effect is not high. We tested and let computer
operate with all of its power. In this test, when CPU operates 100%
continuously in some hours, temperature increases to 650-800C.
If it is in mode without loading, its temperature is always at 50oC.
However, this is temperature that is in producer’s limitation (1000C
is the maximum rate). Heat releases in the front part, so it doesn’t affect
users. But you must pay attention that you shouldn’t put computer near wall or
hang it on wall like TV because its endurance will decrease because in a long
time, it has difficulty in heating.
Behind
face is QWERTY keyboard to enter data.
Computer also has a keyboard, wireless
mouse that doesn’t need USB to receive signal because it is integrated in
computer. Adapter’s power is 135Watt. Controlling remote has 2 faces (front
face controls features and behind face is QWERTY keyboard to enter data.)
This
product obeys standard of DVB-T digital television.
Testing product is integrated card TV, but
it obeys standard of DVB-T digital television. Moreover, gates that are used to
plug signal behind computer such as HDMI, LAN… is rather narrow and convenient
because they are put “plugging from below to above”. As a result, if users want
to plug, you have to overthrow and reverse computer to plug in.

In general, Acer 5,600U is a perfect
product when it is used with Windows 8 because it has many good features to interact
with users directly. Computer’s configuration is strong, it uses separated
graphic, so it can satisfy all of medium 3D entertaining demands such as
watching Full HD film or playing game, surfing web… And it is appropriate to
become entertaining center for all of members in family. People are going to
sell this computer with price $1,190.

Point Grab application
This is software that is preset in Windows 8 of computer.
It allows users to control computer by making your hand reciprocally in front
of direct camera. For example, users sit in front of computer, with distance
from 50-150cm and make their hand reciprocally from left to right in front of
the direct camera, it will automatically display Charm bar or do similarly to opposite direction to come back to
Modern UI configuration of Windows 8 that is rather sensible and easy to carry
out. However, it is difficult to perform manipulations to press left mouse,
drag and drop or zoom in. It takes a lot of time for users to practice because
direct camera doesn’t always record enough image signal or right manipulation.
Software that has direction with illustrating images allows users to get
acquainted with each manipulation to control computer.
Acer Cloud application
This is cloud computing application of Acer and it allows users
to share office documents, images, film… from equipment that run with Android,
tablet or laptop with 2GB capacity. This application is registered to use
without fee and it also allows connecting with maximum rate.
Acer Explore Application
This is an information gate that is similar to Windows Store of Windows 8 and it allows users to experience with
free applications that don’t appear on Windows Store such as 2,000 games from
Wild tangent Games website, installing more applications from the third firm
for computer on Windows 8 such as reading Kindle book, accessing Amazon, Ebay warehouse
or application that has Norton Backup online exchange…Because Acer associate to
the third firm to develop, so all of these applications are free.
Sound and CONEQ effect
Although it uses integrated sound from
Realtek firm, it also uses Lab CONEQ sound technology that is sole. Options in
sound part allow users to experience with 2 new features: creating sound effect
with 3D stereo ring and automatically adjust volume to prevent cracking. We
tested by turning on/off 2 effects; as a result, sound is sharper, sound quality
is pure, low sound is tidy without cracking. When we compare it with normal
loudspeaker, difference is 20%. Loudspeaker is designed with low capacity, so
its sound is small and it is only used enough in separated room.
Media Espresso 6.5 application
This is software to transfer about
formatting of files film, music and images to standard specialization on mobile
equipment of Cyberlink firm. This software has many
useful functions to users, especially transferring files to use faster on
tablet, cellphone or MP3 due to graphic to increase the speed in transferring
files. It is as 2 or 3 times as using traditional way to process by CPU.
Acer Power Button application
This is software soaking in Windows 8. It
automatically installs more 5 keys on familiar desktop configuration that is
used to turn off, hibernate, restart and eliminate screen…
In addition, computer is also installed
Microsoft Office 2010 office application with trial version for students in 60
days, software to destroy virus of Mcafee firm,
collection that is used to back up online data of Norton firm…
Because computer is integrated with Windows
8, it is also backed up all of parts that are installed in a separated hard
disk drive in computer (it doesn’t display on computer). When users meet virus,
they only need to click PC Settings to restore the whole operating system in
original copy with the time when they buy computer. However, it takes a long
time for this process to run. It can take from 4-5 hours for computer to
restore completely.
Performance
Computer is equipped with Intel Core i5
3.210 processor, 2,5 GHz speed, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard disk drive, graphic has the
combination of Nvidia GT630M and Intel HD 4000, LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/second,
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 3.0, HDMI, Bluetooth, Blu-ray disc. Consequently, tests
about efficiency don’t have any obstacles. It can satisfy medium 3D
entertaining graphic demands or watch Full HD film.
However, experience computer only uses a
4GB RAM bar. It doesn’t its power from double channel (runs 2 RAM bars at the
same time), so some tests about efficiency is lower than we expect. For
example, PC Mark 7 only gains 2,200 grades. It isn’t as good as computer that
is using BXL Intel Core i3; however, this is not product’s mistake. The reason
is that PC Mark 7 doesn’t have good compatibleness. Some other applications to
measure efficiency such as 3D Mark 06, Cinebench 11.5 or Webvizbench have
higher result than computers that use integrated graphic.
Besides, computer also uses 2 graphic cards
to transfer. It also depends on demand needing 3D that has just activated card
stronger to run. For example, when we test Street Fighter 4 game, computer will
activate Street Fighter 4 graphic but not use Cinebench to measure efficiency,
then it will choose Nvidia GT630M again. Users can force users to use one of 2
graphic cards by adjusting in Nvidia Settings > 3D Manager option.
