VIBER

Viber is a direct rival to Skype and WhatsApp and is currently one of the top ranked, free social networking apps on iTunes. It syncs with your phone contacts and like WhatsApp, shows who already has Viber. It is 100% free to use apart from what it may cost you in your internet connection, unless using Wi-Fi.

Description: VIBER

Totally free usually means ads but Viber is completely ad free, runs in the background so it doesn't drain your battery too much and features some excellent HD sound quality. It's not as feature rich as WhatsApp, but upcoming updates promise much more functionality in the future.

Discovr People

We looked at Discovr Music last week, so we'll take a quick glance this week at Discovr People, a similar app to the music version allowing users to discover new people on Twitter. Just type in a name and you'll soon find a spider web like tree branching out to other interesting people that you might like to follow based on the people being followed by the original person.

Description: Discovr People

It works on iPhone and iPad, features retina display and allows users to explore more about the people you search through an easy tap system calling up bios or additional info about that particular person. Just like Discovr Music, Discovr People has an intuitive interface that is so very easy to use, leading you on an endless trail of new peeps through Tweetland.

Tapatalk Forum App

TapaTalk Forum App is the best way to experience forums all over the net. Using Safari on your device for this purpose can be a frustrating experience but TapaTalk is currently supported by over 30,000 forums with 400 forums added each week, all spanning various topics.

Description: Tapatalk Forum App

TapaTalk compiles these forums, into one nicely laid out location where users can browse or search the different types of forums available. It feels streamlined, compact and stripped back for a no frills experience, though you lose very little in the way of regular features and control, as members can view who is online, check out board stats and see user profiles.

But you can also send private messages, integrate with Facebook and Twitter and save posted images to an album for a well-rounded feature set in one easy app that allows you to forum hop with ease. There's a reason this is a top 5 social networking app and there is very little else like it that can bring all your forums' needs to one place.

iLoader 2 For Facebook

This is easily the best photo and video batch uploader for Facebook. Many a time has Facebook's own uploader failed to produce the results its users are looking for, but iLoader 2 is quick and far less painful.

Description: iLoader 2 For Facebook

Not only does iLoader 2 do an excellent job of uploading multiple photos and videos with captions, and tagging, but it has a broad range of features to virtually Photoshop images, creating photo albums, adding video titles, giving descriptions and privacy permissions, trimming videos or even uploading photos and videos together in one shot. Facebook can't do that!

Description: iLoader 2 For Facebook

It can do all this in the background and you can even perform everything, but upload, without an internet connection allowing you to save and come back to pick up where you left off before adding the finishing touches and uploading.
