AirPlay Mirroring
AirPlay Mirroring will allow you to stream your Mac content
to your HDTV if you own an Apple TV. The HDTV will essentially become a second
display screen you can use. This feature is useful particularly to show off Web
pages you created, or share videos and photos on a big screen with friends.

GateKeeper
Since Macs have recently been hit with the Flashback Trojan
and it caused Apple big concerns, the company is tightening security in
Mountain Lion. A feature, called GateKeeper, is being added that will give you
control over the types of applications you want to download and run on your
Mac. You will be able to choose from three security options. It also supports
downloading apps from the Internet using a Developer ID program. The Developer
ID program is based on trust between Apple and developers. If you download a
supported app it means it should be secure.

All-new features for china
Chinese Mac users will have a lot of additional features
just for them. Apple will be adding and supporting many popular Chinese
services. For instance, Safari will come packed with Baidu integration. Baidu
is a leading Chinese search provider. Video-sharing websites like YouKu and
Tudou will also be included in Share Sheets. Chinese users will even be able to
blog with Sina Weibo, which is a micro-blogging service.
Other possible features
The final feature list still hasn’t been verified and is
still speculation over what final features it will have. One of these rumors
mentions Siri as a possibility. However, it may not be the full-feature version
one might expect.
According to GMANetwork, ‘A lite version of Siri, Apple
Inc.’s voice-activated assistant may turn up in the next version of OS X, the
operating system for Macintosh machines.’
‘A lite version of

The information comes from bits of code citing the Siri’s
voice dictation feature that was imported to the iPad from the original iPhone
Siri. It allows users to speak to their device rather than have to type it via
the virtual keyboard or a keyboard attachment.
It will be interesting to see if Apple brings aspects of
Siri, like voice dictation, to Mountain Lion on top of all the other iOS
features that have already been confirmed.
Apple is integrating some of the best iOS features into the
Mac operating system and wants to transform the user experience on Macs the way
it did on mobile devices. Mac users already have an operating system that
stands head and shoulder above others in terms of intuitiveness and
ease-of-use, at least as far as its fanbase is concerned. But, Mountain Lion
will make the experience even more intuitive and comfortable for a wider range
of users. Who knows, the iPad and the Mac may one day share an operating system
or have a dual-boot option if Apple continues integrating the two operating
systems in the future.
