Samsung ES9000

Owning 75in screen size, this LED TV, of Samsung 9 series, is only 7.9mm thin. Beside the sleek design featuring no hinge in the front, ES9000 is adorn with Rose Gold finish and curved bezel with no visible seams.

The product also supports Full HD resolution and active 3D, along with smart interactions based on webcam integrated in the TV’s frame.

RRP is $13,495.

LG knew how to refresh itself when releasing 3D Cinema TVs with eye-catching appearance in 2012, yet they were even more impressive than the previous year’s models. LM9600 is a typical LG model.

Not only featuring a thickness of 20mm, the bezel is almost eliminated, seizing around a few millimeters, making the model remarkably sleek. When wall-mounted, the TV seems like a normal picture, rather than a common slim TV. Meanwhile, the stand comes in U shape, adorn with stylish curves.

ES8000 deserves being one of Samsung’s most impressive hi-end TV in 2012. Similar to D8000 and D7000 models, ES8000 features an exceptionally sleek design and extremely thin bezel. Aside from an X-shaped stand, ES8000 owns a unique and stylized U-shape stand.

It’s seeable that ES8000 is integrated with a webcam/camera on screen, allowing for video calls and Smart Interaction which enables voice or action commands. This hi-end model comes in various sizes: 46in, 50in, 55in, 60in and 65in, the largest, of course.

The Japanese manufacturer kept on with the solid-state Monolithic design in Bravia TVs. The brand’s top model in 2012, HX955, is a typical one in accordance to the theme. Thus, it looks simple but elegant. When the screen is off, it appears as a flat, pure black and sleek plate, feeling completely different from a conventional TV.

HX955 still retains Corning Glass, protecting the screen from accidental scratches and collisions. The common rectangular stand was metal-remade to be sleeker and glossy plus curved. It’s outstanding that HX955 uses LED backlighting instead of LED edge lighting. Though, the slimness is still very impressive.

Sony 84X9000

While the last 4 models impress users with sleek appearances, Sony’s 84in TV attracts people with modern curves and technological style. Two hi-power 5.1 dome speakers are placed separately from the screen. The stand is formed of 2 adjustable poles which are designed to be as slim as possible, not as bulky as those in previous Bravia models.

This TV also impresses user with Ultra HD 4K, featuring a resolution that is 4 times as high as common Full HD. Thus, the price is high, too. RRP is over $40,000.
