Amber international

Following a successful launch into the CI market at ISE 2012, EMEA Master Distributor, Amber International is returning to the show this year with an exciting range of products from URC, TruAudio, Kinetik Labs and Terra Speakers.

“We are looking forward to exhibiting at ISE again”, says Stuart Tickle, Managing Director of Amber International. “We received a great response from visitors when we launched the company in 2012, and are now returning with some exciting developments, including new brand signups and an array of great products. We have created two demos for the show which will provide visitors with a full understanding of the benefits and features of our product ranges”.

One of the major highlights from Amber International will undoubtedly be URC’s Total Control range. Visitors to booth 1P35 will have the chance to experience an interactive demo which focuses on the system’s multi-room audio and control capabilities and will allow installers to get hands-on with the technology. Elsewhere on the booth will be the DMS-AV amplifier which delivers crystal clear audio and video to any home theatre or entertainment room. In stock and now shipping through Amber’s territorial distributors, the system is designed to perfectly integrate with a URC Total Control system. A new addition to the line-up and also on display is the THZ-100, an easy to integrate digital thermostat which allows homeowners and commercial property owners to manage their energy consumption.

The latest products from TruAudio will be available for visitors to view on the adjacent booth – 1P22. TruAudio’s THIN-CEILING speakers are currently the thinnest in-ceiling speakers available in the CI industry. Encompassing the latest sleek, attractive design, these affordable speakers deliver top quality sound and blend seamlessly into any room environment thanks to TruAudio’s ground-breaking Ghost grill design. The new compact, yet powerful SAT3 two way satellite speaker series will also be one show. Offering omni-directional sound positioning via a unique magnetic mounting system, the speaker angle can be adjusted with ease and mounted to walls, ceilings, in shelves or within a single gang box.

Amber International revealed in November that Terra Speakers has joined its portfolio. Already generating a lot of interest for its ‘All Climate’ range of speakers, Amber will be proving that there is no issue for a Terra Speaker to be in water for these days. Visit the stand to see this remarkable demonstration. Kinetik Labs will also have a presence on the booth, showcasing the latest developments in its range of speakers, cables and IR Kits.

Dali Fazon Mikro

Dali Fazon Mikro

2013’s ISE Show also sees the pre-launch of the smallest speaker in the Dali range, the Dali Fazon Mikro. Using the DNA of the Dali Fazon range, the Mikro features a die cast aluminum cabinet and superior audio performance. As the name indicates, it’s smart, compact and the most diminutive loudspeaker in the Fazon series. However, despite the size of the Fazon Mikro, you will be surprised by the sound it produces – it really does pack quite a punch!

HDanywhere modular

HD Connectivity has announced a highly versatile HDMI HDBaseT matrix switcher based around a system of patented field-changeable modules.

HD Connectivity has announced a highly versatile HDMI HDBaseT matrix switcher based around a system of patented field-changeable modules.

HD Connectivity Ltd will be at the show this year to unveil its biggest product launch to date: HDanywhere Modular – the first HDBaseT Matrix to be designed and built in Great Britain. HDanywhere Modular offers a customizable HDMI matrix system that enables integrators to bespoke build the perfect AV distribution system, matched perfectly to the individual nature of every project.

Thanks to flexible input/output (I/O) module options, the HDanywhere Modular Matrix system allows integrators to specify which signal transmission technology is used by each output. Modules at launch include HDMI, HDBaseT and HDBaseT-Lite, all of which can be mixed and matched in a single system, thus eliminating expensive unused capacity and unnecessary functionality. Two chassis models will be available at launch: 4 in / 4 outs (MOD44) and 8 in / 8 outs (MOD88).

HDanywhere Modular’s ability to mix and match HD distribution technologies means that installers are given complete control when specifying systems. For example, one TV location might require a full HDBaseT signal for HDMI, IR control, plus a LAN connection for smart TV services. A second TV might simply require HDMI and IR control, making the HDBaseT-Lite module a perfect fit. As well as flexibility, it also represents better value as installers use only the modules they need for a specific zone. In addition, should a project outgrow the existing system, all the modules can be simply ported across to a bigger chasis.

TV Location Receiver module options include the standard TV-mountable ‘hockey puck’ style and an ‘in-wall’ UK wall plate back box design, all featuring PoE meaning that a separate power supply is not required. All components of the system are sold separately; chassis, input modules, output modules and receiver options.

HDanywhere’s on-board system management software sets it apart from other professional HDMI switchers. Providing a greatly improved integration, setup and monitoring experience befitting of a mission-critical element of every smart home installation.

Other systems integration friendly features include instant port switching (IPS) and full IP control for 3rd party controllers. IP-drivers are bundled free for all major control systems, including Control4, AMX, RTI, Crestron and URC.
