The 7.5-inch touch screen boasts impressive resolution, and automatically enlarges the display when the remote control is in use, making essential information discernible from a distance.

Connecting to the internet via LAN, WLAN or Powerline, you can also create your own individual music programmers with the integrated and editorially managed music service AUPEO! While six built-in speakers, two of which are integrated subwoofers, guarantee premium sound quality.

The precision finish of the Loewe SoundVision also contribute added value – the system’s housing, which incorporates the integrated Multi Touch display, is made of polished anodized aluminum and is milled from a single piece of metal – a design of the which has already won the coveted iF gold award.

The newly enhanced Loewe SoundVision is available now, priced at $1,875 and in a choice of Aluminum Silver, Aluminum Black and new High Gloss White finishes. A variety of insets are available for the side panels, including hundreds of special-order colors, enabling the SoundVision to be customized according to taste and décor.

SE-x appeal from PMC

Something a bit special now over at PMC as the manufacturer of audio magnificence introduced the SE range of loudspeakers, building on the high performance levels of the critically acclaimed high-end three way models and combined with finest traditions of British cabinet making. Music lovers will be able to enjoy greater levels of musicality and the aesthetic beauty of these special edition models.

Featuring the large three-way models, the IB2, MB2 and BB5, the SE concept combines PMC’s uncompromising build quality with the luxurious hand selected Rose and Rich Macassar veneers. Peter T. says of the new models: “Our I series has been a fantastic success all across the world, building upon our studio heritage to bring accurate music reproduction to music lovers in the home. Now, with the SE edition, we have improved the performance of these models even further so that the most discerning of audiophiles can enter right into the heart of their music and hear it sounding just like it did in the studio”. PMC will be demonstrating this range at the Bristol Show in the SS Great Britain 3 Suite on the Ground Floor.

Amps go back to black

Parasound has announced its flagship Halo Series will now be offered in an impressive black finish, in addition to the titanium-silver that has characterized the line since its launch.

The new front panels are made of extruded aluminum will a brushed hairline black anodized finish. The recess in the front panel is bead-blasted for a contrasting texture. This high-quality finishing process produces a durable, long life finish that has contributed to the timeless Halo design concept and, in the opinion of Parasound’s founder and president, Richard S., “continues to be uniquely satisfying and less techy looking than the majority of audio products.

“The impetus to offer Halo in black comes from our dealers around the globe, who are increasingly using AV receivers and popularly priced surround processors as the front end of their surround systems. The majority of AVRs are black and some end users have a strong preference for components of a single color”.

The first Halo products to be offered in Black, are the new Halo A 31 three-channel power amplifier featuring John Curl designed circuitry, 3x 250W of pure power with high bias class A/AB operation and TXH Ultra2  certification and the highly renowned A 21 two channel amplifier. This will be followed by the A 51 five-channel amp, with all three amplifiers using the same 250W high-current power amplifier stage, so they can be used together in large multi-channel home theatres, while retaining identical sound characteristics from channel-to-channel. Parasound will continue to introduce black versions of the full HALO line during 2013, including those audiophile favorites, the HALO JC 1 400W mono block power amplifier, JC 2 and JC 2 BP preamplifiers, and JC 3 phono preamplifier.

All Parasound HALO amps in black will retail for the same price as their silver counterparts, with a suggested retail price of $4498.5 for the A 31 and $3598.5 for the A 21.
