It’s where Lite-On’s iHES drives jump into.
As a read-only duplicate of IHBS series of Lite-On, 112-115 offers smooth 12x playback
of Blu-ray.
iHES112-115 is an internal optical drive,
designed to be mounted into PC case and connected through SATA.
This is a bulk-buy version of the product
thus you won’t get any software included. If you don’t have necessary software,
you should take a look at iHES212, provided with a basic version of CybetrLink
PowerDVD. Or, you can purchase a packed copy of CyerLink’s playback
application.
As a combo drive, Lite-On allows you to write
onto single-layer and dual-layer DVDs, and DVD+/-R 16x feature is provided for
this ability.

The main problem with this drive is it is not
just that cheap. For $75, it’s too much to pay for a BD-ROM drive while you can
have a comprehensive Blu-ray read/write drive for a price from $98 to $119. But,
should you surely want to read Blu-ray content only, it will save you some
money.
