HP Unveils 27-Inch All-In-One Workstation

Hp kicked off its annual Workstations Solution World in Asia Pacific by unveiling their new HP Z1 with a new addition to the ZSeries family: HP Z820, HPZ620 and HP Z420. From 23 March to 17 April, HP will showcase their new additions to its tine of HP ZWorkstations.

The display of HP Z1 Workstation snaps open so users can easily swap out parts and make upgrades without needing to use any tools. The Z1 features Intel Xeon processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics, and support for more than 1 billion colours.

The Z820, Z620 and Z420 has the latest eight- core Intel Xeon processor E5-26Q0 product family, offer up to 512 GB of DDR3 memory and support multithreaded workstation applications. It also feature third-generation PCI Express technology, providing increased performance and seamless integration of new graphics cards.

The HP Z820, engineered for compute­intensive visualisation needs, is targeted towardscustomers who are involved in oil and gasmechanical computer-aided design (CAD)r mechanical computer-aided engineering, medical, video and animation. It provides up to 16 Processing cores, up to 512 GB of ECC memory, up to 15 ĨB of storage and up to dual NVIDIA Quadro 6000 graphics.

For those who prefer quiet environments with minimal space, the Z620 is aimed at customers in financial services, video, animation, architecture and midrange CAD. It is updated to support both single and dual-socket processors, the 2620 provides up to 16 processing cores, up to 96 GB of ECC memory, up to 11 TB of storage and professional 2D and 3D graphics up to NVIDIA Quadro 6000 or dual NVIDIA Quadro 5000 graphics.

There is also the Z420 that was engineered to meet mainstream computing and visualisation needsfor customers in CAD, architecture, video editing and photography. The Z420 includes up to eight processing cores using Intel Xeon processor E5-1600 and E5-2600 product families, providing up to 64 GB of EEC memory, up to 11TB of storage and up to NVIDIA Quadro 5000 or dual Quadro 2000 graphics.

The Intel Xcon processor E5-2600 product family allows for up to 16 physical corcs to a single system and let 32 threads run at one time when using two processors, each with eight cores and Intel Hyper- Threading Technology enabled. The new processors include Intel vPro Technology, integrated memory controllersand Intel Turbo Boost Technology.

The HP Zl Workstation is available in Malaysia from April and the pricing will start at RM5.888. The HP Z820, HP Z620 and HP Z420 are also expected to be available in Malaysia from April 2012 onwards. The pricing starts at RM3800 for the Z420, RM4800 for Z620 and RM6000 for Z820.
