Fujitsu has just officially
unveiled 2 new
models aimed at corporate groups: the Stylistic Q702 laptop/tablet
hybrid and
the LifeBook T902, a convertible laptop. Q702 has 11.6-inch AH-IPS
screen and supports an optional keyboard dock, enabling users to input
data with stylus pen
or sensitive-touch. It has Ivy Bridge. The prominent trait that
differentiates
itself from other tablets is many security functions are added up such
as
Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Intel Anti-Theft Technology and
Computrace
software. In the battery dock, there is a battery to prolong using time
and it
also supplies with USB 2.0/3.0 port, Ethernet, VGA. It runs Windows 7
(and will
be updated to Windows 8) and will be sold in third quarter with starting
price
at $1099.
Stylistic
Q702
The second one belongs to convertible
series, which means that you can convert it from a laptop into a tablet by
rotating and folding the screen. LifeBook T902 will replace T901 which was
unveiled last year with 13-inch display (1,600 x 900), CPU Ivy Bridge, 16GB RAM
and other options such as WWAN and LTE. It owns a removable optical disk like
other laptops of Fujitsu so users can add a battery, projector module, HDD and
other accessories. Functions for corporations and organizations such as TPM,
Computrace, fingerprint reader and vPro virtualization technique will appear on
this device. Lifebook T902 will be sold in third quarter at starting price at
$1,899.
