Ultrabook Portege Z930 of Toshiba weighs 1 kilogram and it is the lightest ultrabook that we have ever tested. It has big strength of efficiency although it has thin model.

Small, light and strong

In the case of Z930, light weight isn’t similar to feeling of bad production because people use aluminum alloy as material and it is very durable. Although its design is thin 17mm, we cannot create sticking or flexure of machine frame - it is a former safe sign.

Persuasive performance

Besides this thing, the ultrabook has some impressive technological features. You will find Intel Core i7 (3667U) CPU in its heart, it gains 2GHz speed. In addition, it also has 4GB memory and 2GB storage that is useful to solid drive. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 is strong enough to most of the tasks about graphic and simple games. Ivy Bridge i7 processor grazes the general computing task; browsing web, running application and playing video are very fast.

Reflection

Z930 also has anti-glare screen and it remarkably reduces reflection. However, it provides excellent saturation and reflection. It can avoid general clearness that disturbs other anti-glare screen while it is easier to watch than mirror screen. Its view is not good; however, its 1,366x768 (118ppi) maximum resolution can provide sharp text and exciting images.

Z930 has beautiful Chiclet keyboard while trackpad is concave. Moreover, it seems to be fast from this edge to that one. It is supported with 2 hard mouse buttons that we consider it rather hard and dry’ so it isn’t similar to our hobby.

Small details, big difference

Company chose and put fan in back and therefore, hot air avoids left and right edge while it keeps the position of USB 2.0; 1 gate of USB 3.0, HDMI, SD card reader and Ethernet gate are put all over back face and 2 sides of machine. In addition, battery duration is nearly 7:30.

Verdict

·         Portege Z930 is a strong ultrabook and it has a lot of ability. We easily see that business managers will rely on this ultrabook.

·         It can be ultra-thin; however, it isn’t cheap because Z930 is very expensive with price $18,000.
