Samsung New Galaxy Note 10.1 - As Easy To Use As Pen And Paper

9/20/2012 7:10:03 PM

Note 10.1 gets more rounded shape, rear stylus and strong specs having quad-core processor (1.4GHz) and 2GB of RAM.

Samsung officially introduced new Galaxy Note 10.1 with redesigned appearance and more powerful specs. Belongs to Note series, this product owns an extra stylus and apps specialized for S Note. However, it’s a pity that the screen features only 10.1inch and 1280x800 pixel resolution, which is much lower than that of new iPads.

Note 10.1 comes with strong specs: Exynos quad-core processor (1.4GHz) manufactured by Samsung, 2GB of RAM, custom storage (16GB/32GB/64GB) and external microSD card whose storage can be up to 64GB. The model, with 2 versions: 3G and Wi-Fi, was sold in this August. Especially, LTE supported model will appear later by the end of this year.

Samsung’s new tablet is equipped with rear 5MP camera supporting autofocus and LED flash. Front-facing 1.9MP camera allows for video call. The device has 8.9mm thickness, 600g weight (for 3G version) or 597g weight (for Wi-Fi version). Battery capacity is 7,000mAh.

According to our reporter, RRP is $593 or $742 for only Wi-Fi model or Wi-Fi plus 3G model, respectively.
